MISATANGO de Martin Palmeri

Le choix par le directeur

artistique du Chœur, Bisser Kostandinov, d’interpréter La Misa a Buenos Aires,

dite Misatango, régulièrement jouée dans les églises du monde entier, n’est pas

le fruit du hasard.

Cette œuvre, née à Buenos Aires en 1996, doit d’ailleurs

sa création à des choristes qui ont incité leur chef à la composer. Martin

Palmeri a constaté combien l’interprétation de tangos du répertoire par des

chorales est difficile et rend un hommage aux chœurs et au tango. Avec ses

changements fréquents de nuances et de progressions rythmiques, elle nécessite

un accord de tous les instants entre chef, chanteurs et musiciens, tous

embarqués dans un navire qui roule et tangue au gré de la partition. Que de

mesure et de démesure dans cette œuvre majuscule : les mouvements sont

tantôt d’une infinie douceur, tantôt d’une énergie flamboyante. Avec bien-sûr

des incursions fréquentes dans les rythmes du tango argentin ! Impossible

de rester plongé dans sa partition, il faut se l’approprier avec son cœur et

son corps. L’œuvre requiert à tout instant un engagement complet dans chaque

pupitre. Et la magie obtenue est époustouflante !  Le public aura le plaisir de s’en rendre

compte en direct !
